her at an Alabama
football game—she’s
hard to miss, decked
out in a pink outfit with
a big flowery hat. You might have
watched a viral video of her on
TikTok with her discussing her love
of all things pink.
If you’ve driven through
Tuscaloosa’s Mallard Creek
neighborhood during the holidays,
you’ve for sure seen Cathy Quinn’s
house that blushes with color.
Every window twinkles, every
decoration glows, and amid all the
sparkle, there’s the unmistakable
pink theme. Not just a splash or an
accent, but full-on, unapologetic,
delightfully pink.
Quinn is better known around
town, and across the internet, as
the Pink Lady. “I’ve always loved
pink,” she said with a big Southern
smile that could outshine her
Christmas lights. “Most people
grow out of it. I never did.”
